Tiene 2 meses de nacida, vive en Republicana Dominicana y ha sido diagnosticada con Neuroblastoma, una forma de Cancer que se necesita tratar urgentemente, con muy buen pronostico por su corta edad.
Debido a la complejidad de su condición la operación y posterior tratamiento de Alexa Nicole Duran normalmente costaría US$275,000.00 en el Holtz Children’s Hospital de la Universidad de Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center. A través del International Kids Fund podemos lograr un precio rebajado de $120,000.00 y ayudar a la familia de Alexa Nicole Durán en la recaudación de fondos para su operación.

THE STORY OF DAVID
David A. Rosario is a fourteen-year old boy, whose world and dreams of becoming a scientist were shattered on June 26, 1999 when his small body was struck by a reckless truck driver in his homeland of the Dominican Republic. As a result of this accident, David who is an A student and a sophomore in high school, suffered very serious damages to his left leg which was broken in three different places.A very poor surgical procedure was performed in his native country, which left David not only almost crippled needing a walker constantly but also seriously depressed. With the help from a friend, David came to Miami and was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital where he was examined by Dr. Stephen Stricker. Dr. Stricker said that David’s constant pain and suffering, can be eliminated with corrective surgery but the cost ($30,000.00) is beyond our financial capabilities. The fact that David can become an active and happy child again has moved us to write this letter and humbly request your help in making David’s future a bright one again.Thank you for your support and help.
